The London City Press Club is a relaxing, private club with a bar “where everybody knows your name.”
The Club was established in 1957 for the exclusive use of news-hounds from newspaper, radio, television and schools of journalism in London, Canada. Alas, the times they are a-changing, and the London City Press Club is one of the last remaining press clubs in operation in Canada. Membership is now open to all.
The Club is not, and never has been formally affiliated with the newspaper or any other media here in London, so we are not beholden to anybody. Our members and our guests are our priority.
By tradition, The London City Press Club expects members and guests to observe certain rules of decorum. We also have a rule — strictly enforced — What is said and heard in the Club remains in the Club unless the speaker clearly indicates otherwise.
Anyone breaking this rule of confidentiality will be reprimanded, and could face suspension or expulsion from the Club.
Non-members are invited to drop into the Club to take a look around, have a drink and check out the atmosphere. If you like what you see, you may want to think about joining. The cost is $105 per year - that's $100 for us, and $5.00 for the guys in Ottawa. We may ask that you have a member in good standing vouch for your application, and all applications are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
We invite you to check out the rest of the website and see what else we have to offer. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at:

We hope you will enjoy the Club,
Steve Green, President (2009)
